Shoplifter
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, Jan. 4, 10:19 a.m., 1988 Virginia Ave., “Seven Eleven request officer respond to review video of shoplift occurred approximately 20 minutes prior. Officer observed the subjects walking south on Broadway near Perry’s Electric,” 27-year old Jiahston Ray Jones, Coos Bay, charged with Probation Violation, Theft III Value $1.99, Criminal Trespass II, Resisting Arrest, Interfere with Police & Criminal Mischief I. Also, 37-year old Andrew Joseph Martin, Coos Bay, charged with Probation Violation and cited for Theft III value $1.99. “Subjects permanently trespassed from NB 7-11.” Both transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Probation Violation
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, Jan. 4, 2:49 p.m., 3201 Tremont Ave., “Mill Security reported detainable subject at front entrance, officers respond and contacted the subject:” 31-year old Don William Boyd, Coos Bay, charged with Probation Violation, referred for PCS Schedule I and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
