The 20th Annual Newport Marathon is Saturday, June 2, on the Central Coast. The 26.2 mile course starts at Yaquina Bay State Park, follows the Yaquina River nearly to Toledo before doubling back to end on the Newport Waterfront. More than 1,000 runners/walkers participate in the Boston Marathon qualifying course.
