North Bend’s football team will receive a send off Friday morning, 9 a.m., with a parade route through town as the unbeaten Bulldogs head north for Saturday’s OSAA 4A state football championship game with Gladstone, 5 p.m., at Hillsboro Stadium. The escorted team bus will leave the high school at 9 a.m. Head down 16th to Broadway Ave., north on Broadway to Virginia Ave. and then through downtown before connecting with Hwy. 101 at Sheridan Ave. and then north across the McCullough Bridge. The city’s police and fire department vehicles will escort the team for those wanting to line the parade route and cheer the team.
