Reserved seating for Friday’s Bay Area Rivalry football game between Marshfield and North Bend at Pete Susick Stadium in Coos Bay are still available through the Marshfield Athletic Office in Pirate Hall. Athletic Director Greg Mulkey says they also have some parking passes for $10 in the main parking lot, and $5 in the clinic’s parking lot. Marshfield finished the 2014 4A Far West League season unbeaten after downing Douglas 3-1 (23-25, 25-13, 25-14, 25-10) Tuesday night in Winston. Junior Hailee Woolsey led the Lady Pirates with 12 kills, while senior Abby Clough and sophomore Shaylynn Jensen each had ten. The Trojans finish third in league. In other FWL matches, Siuslaw finishes second after beating visiting North Bend 3-0 (25-19, 25-9, 25-14). South Umpqua won at Brookings-Harbor 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-11).

North Bend and Brookings-Harbor finished in a tie, 1-1, Tuesday night at Vic Adams Field in North Bend in a Far West League boys’ soccer match. Marshfield won at Douglas, 5-0, and South Umpqua bettered Coquille/Myrtle Pt., 3-2. In girl’s matches, Brookings-Harbor beat North Bend 1-0, Marshfield and Douglas tied at 0-0, and So. Umpqua and Coquille/Myrtle Pt. tied, 1-1.
