According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Feb. 9, 12:54 p.m., 1200 block Virginia Ave., “theft of kegernator, value $2500, occurred within the last hour. Officer responded/report taken for Theft I.” Forty-three year old Jerad Slagle, North Bend, taken into custody on charges of Theft I & Probation Violation. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille. “Stolen item returned to owner.”
Found handgun
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1:48 p.m., 2000 block Grant St., “RP reported a possible handgun in the bushes on Virginia Ave. Officer respond / confirmed the item was a handgun and did not belong to the property owner / item seized.”
Disorderly at the Mall
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, Feb. 9, 3:40 p.m., 1611 Virginia Ave., “male subject with toy gun running through Mall pretending to shoot people. Last seen south bound on Marion pasing 12th. Officer responded / checked the neighborhoods.”
