North Bend’s girls won nine-of-eleven events at the District Swimming Championships at the North Bend Municipal Pool Friday & Saturday en route to the title.  Marshfield junior Ana Hutchins won two events (200 & 500 Freestyle) for the Pirates.  North Bend’s Vianka Hoyer won the 50 Freestyle (25.01), and 100 Butterfly (58.48).  The Bulldog girls were matched by North Bend’s boys as champions, while Marshfield was second in both divisions.  Ryan Trichler won two events for the Bulldogs.  The 200 Individual Medley (1:59.92), and 500 Freestyle (4:57.16).  Connor Frome led the Pirate boys with wins in the 200 Freestyle (1:50.09), and 100 Butterfly (56.56).  The state swimming championships are Friday and Saturday, Feb. 16 & 17, at Mt. Hood CC in Gresham.
