A 2.8-magnitude earthquake was recorded off the North Oregon Coast Friday, Sept. 13. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located on the inner fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. It was locaed west of Rockaway Beach in Tillamook County. A 2.9-magnitude quake was also recorded Sunday, Sept. 15, at the southern junction of the two fault lines. It was west of Petrolia, CA near Cape Mendocino in Nothern California.
