North Coos Waterfront, surging at the end of the regular season, won their sixth & seventh straight American Legion baseball games by sweeping Hidden Valley 13-5 & 11-0 south of Grants Pass Friday.
South Coos
South Coos picked up a couple of American Legion baseball wins last week. South Coos, which plays its home games at Bandon HS, downed Riddle 11-1 and beat Klamath Falls 5-4 for their first wins of the season for the new team. South Coos is scheduled to play at the Roseburg Umpqua Lions Monday, 4 p.m. for a doubleheader.
