In a heart-pound match in the desert, the No. 10 Oregon volleyball team defeated No. 19 Arizona State in five sets, Saturday, 21-25, 32-30, 26-24, 24-26, 15-13. How it Happened: Both teams were on their game defensively, especially Oregon (19-7, 9-7 Pac-12) which finished with 111 digs, the second-most in a Pac-12 match this season. That defense made for long rallies throughout the entirety of the match, only adding the five-set dramatics. While the defensive effort was spearheaded by libero Amanda Benson, who finished with a season-high 28 digs, many Ducks contributed as five ended the night in double-digit digs.
