Defending state champion Marshfield remains on top of the OSAA/Coach’s 4A Basketball Poll this week. The Lady Pirates (10-0) are followed by Banks (10-3), North Marion (7-4) & Baker (12-1) at No. 3 and Philomath (10-2) at No. 5. Other District 4 teams in the Top 10, Marist Catholic (7-4) No. 6, and Junction City (7-5) & Cottage Grove (5-6) are tied for ninth. Coquille (11-1) is ranked No. 2 in the 2A girl’s poll. Marshfield’s boys (6-3) are tied for second in their poll. Seaside (9-2) is No. 1. Banks (12-1) is tied with the Pirates. Coquille (6-6) is No. 9 in the 2A poll.
