Marshfield’s girls made it a complete season as the No. 1 ranked team in the weekly OSAA/Coach’s Girls 4A Basketball Poll. The defending champions enter the playoffs with a 24-1 record. Baker (21-1) and North Marion (19-5) tied for No. 2. Banks (19-5) is No. 4, followed by No. 5 Philomath (21-3), No. 6 Hidden Valley (16-8); No. 7 Stayton (19-4); No. 8 Marist Catholic (16-8); No. 9 Astoria (19-7; and, No. 10 Junction City (16-10). Brookings-Harbor (14-8) is No. 7 in the final 3A Poll, and Coquille (25-1) is No. 3 in the final 2A Poll. Marshfield hosts Valley Catholic (13-13) of Beaverton Saturday, March 2, 4 p.m., with the winner advancing to the State Tournament March 7-9 at Forest Grove.
