On Thursday, December 13, 2018 at approximately 6:15 A.M. Richard Drew Wilson (26) of Eagle Point attempted to cross the northbound lanes of I-5 near the Exit 33 interchange in Central Point. Visibility in the area was limited by darkness and dense fog. Wilson was struck by a northbound Nissan Xterra driven by Jeri Renee Wiggins (52) of Medford. Wilson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
