Elmira beat visiting Marshfield 12-2 (5) in a 4A District 4 softball game at the Falcons Field Tuesday. The Lady Pirates (1-3, 4-8) host second place Junction City Friday (3&5p) at Coos Head Field in Coos Bay. North Bend split a 5A Midwestern League doubleheader with visiting Churchill Tuesday at the Oak St. Fields. The Lancers won the first game 7-3, but the Bulldogs got the second 12-2. North Bend (3-5, 4-9) is at Thurston Wednesday and at Churchill Thursday.
