An on-land 3.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded Monday, Dec. 3 in Northern California near Cape Mendocino. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located northeast of Willow Creek, CA still close to the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast.
