A 4.0-magnitude earthquake shook the Pacific Ocean seafloor off the Central Oregon Coast Sunday night, Nov. 2. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 8:54 p.m. quake was located near one of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast in the Cascadia Subduction Zone. The epicenter was 272-miles west to northwest of Coos Bay, but did not produce a tsunami wave.
