A couple of rare earthquakes were recorded in Oregon early Sunday, April 15. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.1-magnitude quake was recorded Southwest of Silverton and a 2.8-magnitude quake occurred East to Southeast of Lakeview in South Central Oregon.
