Adley Rutschman will not be returning to Oregon State for his senior season of Beaver Baseball. The former Sherwood High School athlete, the No. 1 pick in this year’s Major League Baseball draft by the Baltimore Orioles, signed with the pro team Monday and earned the richest signing bonus! The signing bonus is $8.1 million. It is the largest ever by an MLB draft pick. Rutschman will be introduced to the Baltimore fans tonight during a home game against San Diego.
