News release from CBPD. On June 28, 2015 at approximately 12:50 P.M. Coos Bay Police Officers responded to a residential burglary in the 200 block of N. Wasson Street. It was discovered that the residence had been unlawfully entered through a back window. A large amount of property was stolen from within the residence, valuing over $10,000. The scene was processed and evidence was collected. On June 29, 2015 at approximately 10:30 P.M. Coos Bay Police Officers learned that the stolen property was located at a residence in the 200 block of N. Wall Street. Officers contacted several subjects loading the stolen property onto a trailer. The stolen property was located in over 35 cardboard boxes and seized. Suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing. The Coos Bay Police Department was assisted during the investigation by the Coquille Tribal Police Department and the South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team (SCINT).
