Southwestern Oregon’s basketball teams both lost to visiting Umpqua Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Prosper Hall on the college’s campus in Coos Bay. The Laker men (1-3, 4-13) fell in overtime103-94, and the women (1-2, 10-8) lost 89-82 to the Riverhawks. On Saturday, SWOCC hosts Chemeketa in Coos Bay. Women at 2 p.m., followed by the men at 4 p.m.
