Southwestern Oregon’s baseball team (2-6) has three NWAC games at Everett, WA Saturday, March 18, and Sunday, March 19. The Laker softball team (8-3) has the weekend off.  The SWOCC track team is at Lane in Eugene Friday and Saturday.

Several Lakers are doing well in the NWAC at this time, according to Southwestern Oregon Community College track coach Dan Neal.  Kuda Murasiranwa is rated 1st in the Men’s 100 at 11.10; William Owens is rated 8th in the Men’s 800 at 2:09; Luke Elliot is 3rd in the Javelin at 131’ 5” and  4th in the High Jump at 5’ 11 ½“ and 8th in the triple Jump at 39’ 8”; Mike Mitchel is 6th in the High Jump 5’ 10 ¾”, and 5th in the Triple Jump at 42’ 6 ¾”; Cole Kreutzer is 3rd in the Long Jump 20’ 10 ½“, and 4th in the Triple Jump at 42’ 7 ½”; Lincoln Newdall is 4th in shot at 40’ 4” and 6th in Discus at 124’ 7”; Dylan Jennings is 7th at 34’ 5”; Cole George is 7th in Men’s Discus at 123’ 1”. Women: Breanna Mariscal 1st in the 400 Hurdles at 1:12.57 and 6th in the 400 at 67.37; Grace Herman is 3rd in Javelin at 107’ 10”; Savannah Thurman is 3rd in the Discus at 110’ 5”; Stormy Silver is 7th in the High Jump at 4’9”; Lexie Lofthouse is 5th in the long jump at 15’ 8”; Caley Trimble is 4th in jAvelin at 99’ 9” and 6th in Discus at 98’ 7”; Madison larson is 7th in Discus at 98’ 1”; Macheala Black is 6th in Javelin at 92’ and 8th in Discus at 92’ 4”.
