Southwestern Oregon’s volleyball team got an NWAC split at home this past weekend. The Lakers beat visiting Lane CC on Friday 3-1, but fell to unbeaten Linn-Benton the next day 3-0. SWOCC (1-5, 11-17) plays at Umpqua CC on Wednesday, and a Portland State Club on Saturday, 11 a.m., and at Pacific University in Forest Grove at 3 p.m. in two non-conference matches. Southwestern Oregon’s men’s soccer team won at Lane CC in Eugene 1-0 Saturday. The second place Lakers (5-1-1 South Region, 7-1-1 overall) plays at first place Chemeketa CC in Salem Saturday, 2:30 p.m. SWOCC’s women’s team beat Rogue CC at home Saturday 2-0. The Lakers (2-5-1, 2-6-2) play at Lane CC in Eugene Wednesday, 1:30 p.m.
