A 26-year old Central Coast male was cited for Careless Driving after his pickup truck left Hwy. 101 at South Beach, jumped a curb, missed several vehicles and crashed into the entrance of a tavern Wednesday night, June 5. According to reports, Alexander Price, of Newport, was not injured, but stated he had fallen asleep while driving north on the Coastal Route. No one was injured in Hoover’s Bar & Grill.
