News release City of Coos Bay. The City will be closing Koosbay Blvd from Teakwood Avenue to North 10th Street beginning Thursday, March 16, 2017. The purpose of the road closure is to allow street maintenance crews access to perform roadside vegetation maintenance. The road will reopen by 3:30 pm this afternoon, March 16th. At Teakwood Avenue and North 10th, road closure locations, flagging staff will be present to allow local residents and emergency service vehicles access.
