News release from the Mill Casino/Hotel. We haven’t been challenged yet, but at least nine top managers at The Mill Casino • Hotel & RV Park have agreed to get the ice water flowing by taking on the Ice Bucket Challenge at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27. The volunteers will gather at the South Parking area next to the Salmon Pit (the area just south of the Hotel), of The Mill Casino’s boardwalk to do their part in supporting research into Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Following in the spirit of the Ice Bucket Challenge, the team will be issuing a challenge of their own once their buckets are empty.
