On March 4, 2018 at 8:45 pm the Junction City Police Department received a call regarding a trespass that had just occurred in the 800 block of Deal Street. The caller reported their security camera caught an unidentified male subject opening their gate that secures the front porch. Officer Christensen responded, and the complainant was able to provide a photo of the suspect. Several hours later Officer Christensen located the suspect who was subsequently identified as 23-year-old Jason Duane Hanson of Junction City. Mr. Hanson admitted to committing the trespass and stated he was looking for cans. Mr. Hanson was charged with Criminal Trespass II.
