What is it like to be in Storm Woods’ or Larry Scott’s shoes on the turf at Reser Stadium? How much practice does it take for center Josh Mitchell and the young quarterbacks to get in sync? Does the coaching staff have any superstitions or rituals on game day? You can get those vital answers, and many more, at the Oregon State Women’s Football Clinic, Thursday, Aug. 6 at Reser Stadium and the Valley Football Center. The behind the scenes look at the Beaver football program includes on-field drills with current coaches and players, a player Q&A session, facility tours and a light reception. Registration is $50 with a limit of 300 participants. All net proceeds from the clinic will be used to provide breast and cervical cancer screenings, and related services for uninsured or underinsured women in Benton, Linn, and Lincoln counties through the Women’s Cancer Coalition Fund at the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation. Additional donations can be made to the Women’s Cancer Coalition. Women Football Clinic Schedule: 4:00 p.m. – Registration; 4:45 p.m. – On Field Drills; 5:45 p.m. – Group Facilities Tours; 7:15 p.m. – Reception (Loge at Reser Stadium).
