Oregon – The Les Schwab Bowl presented by Express Employment Professionals is proud to announce the Team Columbia and Team Willamette rosters for one of Oregon’s longest running sports traditions. New in 2022 – for first time in the event’s history – The Les Schwab Bowl will be changing the format this year and moving from a North vs. South geographical match-up, into a Team Columbia vs. Team Willamette game. This change involved a live draft by the coaching staffs and a mix of players from all over the state on both teams. Continuing with the addition of current high school players, underclassmen will be competing in the game from 4A to 6A. Rising seniors, juniors, and sophomores will be eligible to compete with graduated seniors in the All-Star football game showcase. In 1948, the Oregon Shrine Game, was played in Multnomah Stadium. Today, this annual tradition – now known as the Les Schwab Bowl presented by Express Employment Professionals – is playing its 74th game (24th as the Les Schwab Bowl) and will be showcasing the best football talent in the state of Oregon. Event proceeds from the Les Schwab Bowl presented by Express Employment Professionals will benefit the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association general scholarship fund and various youth charities. The Les Schwab Bowl is one of the most well attended statewide All-Star Games in the country. The 2022 event takes place on Saturday, July 2nd at Linfield University in McMinnville, Oregon at 6:00pm. The annual East-West Shrine All-Star Game featuring 1A – 4A players in Baker City will be held August 6, 2022.
