The 2023 Brookings Azalea Festival will be held Memorial Day weekend, May 26th, 27th, and 28th! Chamber of Commerce release – Theme – “Our Heros”. This long-time event celebrates the beauty of the Southern Oregon coast and has been awarded the “Oregon Heritage Tradition” award. Come, and enjoy the activities and weekend we have planned on the beautiful coast of Brookings, Oregon. This event includes a Friday night Dance Party in Azalea Park, Saturday morning, May 27th, the 84th Annual Azalea Festival Parade on Hwy. 101 begins at 10 a.m. in downtown Brookings (Easy St. to Oak St.), Downtown Street Fair, Azalea Park Concerts with a Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band this year and local bands, Elks BBQ, the Curry County Cruisers Car Show, the Azalea Festival Art Show, Quilt Show, Flower/Plant Sale, Library Book Sale, Saturday Farmers Market at the Port of Brookings-Harbor, Sunday morning Church Community service, Sunday park performances including Magician Scott Anderson, Wild Rivers Dance Conservatory and a wildlife education program.
