After contacting the dogs’ owner, he agreed to surrender multiple dogs to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter in hopes of re-homing them. Eleven small breed dogs were surrendered to the shelter later that day, several of the dogs were in poor condition at that time. At approximately 2:30 P.M. on April 24th , 2018, the Sheriff’s Office responded to subsequent barking complaints at the same South Beach address. Deputies located multiple small dogs on the premises that were in need of care. The owner agreed to surrender all of his remaining 16 dogs. This case is active and remains under investigation. Multiple dogs are responding well to treatment and are now available for adoption. Please respond to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter for further information regarding the adoption process.
