Coos Bay Public Library is hosting a 3D PRINTER DEMO for those interested in learning more about 3d printing. This demo will be held on Sat, December 10, from 1-2:30 p.m. in the library’s Myrtlewood Room. Local 3D printing gurus David Stadt and Ryan Johnson will discuss free printing programs that are available online. They will also share with patrons how to find ready-made files available for download. Attendees will be able to see the library’s 3D printer in action and see examples of what types of items can be made using the printer. This is a free demo for those who are curious about 3D printers. It is open to all who would like to attend and no registration is required. If you would like more information, please visit the library’s reference desk or call 269-1101. The 3D printer is available for patron use now! The procedure to submit jobs is available at the reference desk.
