4th St. Roadway Safety Improvement, Aug. 27

City of Coos Bay release – As the roadway safety improvements project continues on 4th Street, Knife River will begin sidewalk reconstruction on S. 4th Street between Anderson and Donnelly Avenues beginning Monday, August 31st. This will result in the closure of the west sidewalk along S. 4th Street. The sidewalk running along S. 4th Street to the east will remain open for pedestrian foot traffic during the sidewalk closure. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to please exercise caution within the construction zone.
