City of Coos Bay release – As the roadway safety improvements project continues on the 4th Street, Knife River will begin the installation of a manhole between Commercial and Anderson Avenues on Monday, November 16th, which will result in the closure of the south bound lane of 4th Street as shown below. The lane closure will commence at 1:00 p.m. It may be necessary to close the north bound lane in the same area later in the day around 4:00 p.m. at which time the south bound lane will be open. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to please exercise caution within the construction zone.
