ODOT: SW Oregon: I-5 SB @ MP 11: The interstate into California is still closed this morning at Ashland. After a 4 a.m. conference call, Caltrans officials are not ready to open. Their problem is the steep Anderson Grade between Klamath River and Yreka. Northbound traffic is closed at Redding. Another call scheduled at 7 a.m. In southern Oregon, travel is strongly discouraged as snow laden trees and powerlines are causing treacherous driving conditions.
