5th Street Temporary Road Closure, Aug. 10

City of Coos Bay release – The city’s wastewater maintenance and collections team will be inspecting the condition of the Mill Slough Box Culvert in the vicinity of 5th Street and Bennett Avenue on Tuesday, August 10th. The work is going to start at 8:00 a.m. and will finish by 3:00 p.m. They will be entering the culvert through a manhole at the center of 5th Street on the south side of the intersection with Bennett Avenue. For safety reasons, this will require a portion of 5th Street be closed. For more details, please see the closure plan below.
