On August 26, 2017, at approximately 5:00 PM, the Oregon State Police responded to a motorcycle crash on Interstate 84 (WB) near milepost 206 in Umatilla County and is one mile west of Pendleton. The preliminary investigation has determined that 60 year old, BADGER, Edward from Washington, was operating a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle and for an unknown reason lost control crashed. BADGER and his passenger were transported to Saint Anthony Hospital in Pendleton with serious injuries. BADGER was later flown to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA. The passenger succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The identification of the passenger will be withheld until the family can be contacted.
