North Bend lost a non-league game at Taft, Lincoln City, on Monday, 6-3. The Bulldogs (7-2, 11-8) end the regular season Friday with a league doubleheader at Marshfield.

Marshfield’s baseball team travels to Eugene Tuesday to play Marist Catholic in a 4A District doubleheader of sorts. The two will finish a game they did not get to finish in Coos Bay due to the weather. They will pick it up in the bottom of the second with Spartans ahead 4-0. That game will be followed by the regular 5 p.m. game. North Bend has the bye.

Jayvee track & field athletes in 4A District 4 will have a sub-district meet at Marist Catholic, Eugene, Tuesday. Both North Bend and Marshfield will compete.

North Bend’s boys won the 4A SD2 Special District 2 Golf Tournament at Tokatee Golf Course, Blue River. The Bulldogs were led by medalist Owen Bascome (81,73). Cascade placed second and Marshfield took third. The Pirates were led by Oscar Day (83-82) fourth place finish. The rest of the Bulldogs team: David Roberts (83,79) for third; Carter Knutson (93-87) 10th; Dashul Gordon (93-94) 12th; and, Behr Gordon (95, 99) 17th. For Marshfield: Mason Aurdahl (99-88) 12th; Enoch Niblett (94, 99) 16th; Kody Chandler (102, 98) 21st; and, Eli Luckman (98, 106) 25th. The OSAA 4A Boys State Championships will be held at Trysting Tree Golf Club, Corvallis May 15-16.
