A couple of earthquakes were recorded at the Southern End of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Thursday and Wednesday. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.4-magnituide quake was located west to southwest of Ferndale, CA early Thursday morning, and a 3.9-magnitude was recorded west of Petrolia, CA late Wednesday. Both near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
