Hwy. 38 Rock Slide, July 10

ODOT release – Sunday, 7:36 a.m. – ODOT: SW Oregon: OR-38, MP 27: One lane of Umpqua Highway (OR-38) is closed nine miles west of Elkton following a rock slide overnight. Crews have removed boulders and debris and are now working to repave the damaged roadway. Flaggers are directing traffic in one available lane; expect delays or use an alternate route. ODOT: SW Oregon: OR-38, MP 27: UPDATE: Sunday, 5:13 p.m. – All lanes of Umpqua Highway (OR-38) have reopened nine miles west of Elkton.
