Teakwood Plaza, July 17

More development is coming to North Bayshore Drive (Hwy. 101) in Coos Bay. According to the City of Coos Bay’s newsletter, the undeveloped vacant lots north of Ace Hardware are being developed into Teakwood Plaza. The proposed layout shows three retail stores (box stores) of 15,000 square feet each, plus a 2,000 square foot pad out front. The Plaza will have 251 parking spaces. The developer reportedly has retailers already under contract, but has not released any names. The site used to hold the Union 76 gas tanks, which were removed years earlier.
