Quakes, July 24

A 2.8-magnitude earthquake shook the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, Friday, July 21. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west to northwest of Petrolia, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. On Monday morning, July 24, 2023, a 3.1-magnitude quake shook the southern end. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west of Rio Dell, CA, also near Cape Mendocino.
