SWOCC Swim Team Honors
SWOCC release – Congratulations Coach Bullock and the Men’s and Women’s Swimming Teams. They both placed first among 5 NJCAA teams named All Academic Teams! The men had an average of 3.26 and the women 3.57. ALL athletes who competed anytime during the year are all computed. The standards for NJCAA are pretty tough and these teams have taken first or placed in the top 2 several times!
Lakers Add to Athletic Staff
SWOCC release – The Athletic Department is very excited to announce the hiring of 3 new staff members!!! Ellen Huff will be the new Athletic Trainer. Emma Meyer was the Women’s Soccer Assistant and will now be the Head Coach! And Drew Jones, former Marshfield boy’s soccer coach, will be the new Men’s Soccer Coach. Welcome Ellen, Emma and Drew!
SWOCC Kids VB Camp
Southwestern Oregon’s Kids Volleyball Camp is coming up August 5, 2023, Prosper Hall, on the Coos Bay Campus. Camp is for grades 205 (9a-noon) and 6-8 (1-4p). Pre-registration not required, but you can register online. Payment required at the door. Doors open 20-minutes prior to start times.
