A 2.8-magnitude earthquake shook the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Monday, July 24. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west to northwest of Bandon on the outer fault line. A second quake was recorded near the southern junction of the two fault lines. It was a 2.9-magnitude located west to southwest of Rio Dell, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
