Warrant Arrest
CCSO release – Date / Time: October 5th 2023; Case Number(s): 2023-00029793 // 2023-00029819; Classification: Warrant Service; Location: Charleston; Suspect(s): Janelle Bradford (37) // Daniel Crofton (46); Deputy makes two separate arrests south of Charleston during shift. On October 5th, 2023, Deputy H. Francis was patrolling south of Charleston on West Beaver Hill when she conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle for several traffic violations. The vehicle’s driver, Janelle Bradford (37), was arrested on an outstanding warrant and transported to the Coos County Jail, where she remains in custody. Later that day, Deputy H. Francis recognized a man she knew previously had warrants for his arrest near Charleston. Deputy Francis contacted the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center, which advised Daniel Crofton (46) of Coos Bay had a valid warrant for his arrest. Mr. Crofton was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and is currently in custody. We are proud of Deputy H. Francis, her commitment to our community, and her attention to detail while on patrol.

Warrant Arrest
CCSO release – Date / Time: October 7th, 2023 at 9:15 a.m.; Case Number(s): 2023-00029877; Classification: Outstanding Warrants, Parole Warrant, Location: West Beaver Hill Road, mile marker 5; Suspect(s): Troy E. Harris (52) from Coos Bay. Investigation by Deputy leads to K9 Track and Coos Bay man’s arrest on outstanding warrants and new charges. On October 7th, 2023, at 9:15 hours, Deputy H. Francis conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on West Beaver Hill for several traffic violations. As a result of the traffic stop, a criminal investigation revealed that Troy E. Harris (52) was associated with the vehicle driver and currently trespassing on Weyerhaeuser property. A record check on Mr. Harris revealed several outstanding warrants, including an “Abscond” on his Parole. Deputy H. Francis located Mr. Harris’ girlfriend at her vehicle a short distance from the original traffic stop. When asked where Troy was, she pointed to the brush and said, “In there.” The area was marked with no trespassing. Due to the outstanding warrants, Coos County Sheriff K9 Cena was called for assistance. K9 Cena tracked about 300 yards into the thick brush where she located Troy E. Harris (52) of Coos Bay, hiding in a depression in the ground. Mr. Harris was taken into custody without issue. Mr. Harris was in possession of 7.2 grams of Methamphetamine. Mr. Harris was also in possession of suspected fentanyl. Mr. Harris was transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked on the outstanding warrants. Mr. Harris is being referred to the Coos County District Attorney’s Office on several new charges stemming from narcotics possession and trespass.

Assault, Duling Rd., Coos Bay
CCSO release – Date / Time: October 5th, 2023 at 11:55 p.m.; Case Number(s): 2023-00029736; Classification: Assault IV (D), Harassment (D); Location: Duling Road, Coos Bay; Suspect(s): Anthony L. Collins (62) of Coos Bay. Coos Bay man arrested after deputies responded to 911 report of disturbance in progress. On October 5th, 2023, at 11:55 p.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a 911 report of a disturbance in progress on Duling Road just south of Coos Bay. Sgt. J. Clayburn and Deputy A. Burgo responded and contacted all parties involved. The suspect was identified as Anthony L. Collins (62) of Coos Bay. After an investigation, Mr. Collins was arrested on the charges of Assault IV Domestic and Harassment Domestic stemming from the incident. Anthony L. Collins was transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and remains in custody.

Burglary Cape Arago Hwy.
CCSO release – Date / Time: October 7th, 2023 at 9:15 p.m.; Case Number(s): 2023-00029846; Classification: Burglary I, Criminal Trespass I; Location: Cape Arago Hwy, Barview; Suspect(s): Karma L. Perry (47). Coos Bay woman arrested after unlawfully entering a residence in Barview and threatening homeowner with a weapon. On October 7th, 2023, at 9:15 hours, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a 911 report of a woman who had entered a residence on Cape Arago Hwy near Barview. The woman had reportedly grabbed a gun from inside the home and threatened the homeowner with it. Sgt. J. Clayburn and Deputy A. Burgo responded to the location and contacted the homeowner outside. Deputy Burgo located the woman inside the residence, identified as Karma L. Perry (47) of Coos Bay. During the investigation, it was evident Ms. Perry had some mental health concerns. However, she was aware of unlawfully entering the victim’s residence and possessing the firearm. Deputy A. Burgo placed Karma L. Perry (47) under arrest on Burglary I and Criminal Trespass I. Ms. Karma was transported to the Coos County Jail, where she remains in custody.
