Ducks No. 6 in CFP, Nov. 1

UO release – EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon football team came in at No. 6 in the first College Football Playoff rankings of 2023 revealed Tuesday evening on ESPN. The Ducks (7-1, 4-1 Pac-12) are the nation’s highest-ranked one-loss team, and are one of six Pac-12 teams in the top 25. Oregon and No. 5 Washington represent the Pac-12 in the top 10, followed by No. 16 Oregon State, No. 18 Utah, No. 19 UCLA and No. 20 USC. The Ducks return home to Autzen Stadium this week to host California on Saturday (2:30 p.m., Pac-12 Network). Oregon will host No. 20 USC on Nov. 11 before going to Arizona State on Nov. 18, and the Ducks will close the regular season against No. 16 Oregon State on Nov. 24.
