Bay Area Hospital will hold a Lung Screen Event on National Lung Screening Day, Friday, Nov. 10 & Saturday, Nov. 11, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (except noon to 1p), at Bay Area Cancer Center, Coos Bay. Criteria for Low Dose CT screening: 50-77 years of age; 20-pack years of smoking history (1 pack per day for at least 20 years); If stopped smoking, it must have been within the last 15 years. Patients must call ahead to book an appointment. Appointments scheduled with a healthcare provider referral only.
