The City of Coos Bay is constructing improvements to the sanitary collection system along 3rd Street between Highland Avenue and Market Avenue. The improvements are required as the existing infrastructure is badly in need of replacement. The construction activities will require the closure of the intersection at 3rd and Market Ave. for Monday evening November 20th but will be re-opened Tuesday evening, after daytime construction work ends at 6:00pm per the project schedule. Working hours will be from 7AM-6PM Monday through Friday.
