CCSO release – Date / Time: December 27th 2023; Classification: K9 Donation; “Emma Loves Dogs Foundation,” awards the Coos County Sheriff’s Office K9 Program a $1,000 grant as part of their 12 days-of-Christmas giveaway. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Program recently submitted a grant application to “The Emma Loves Dogs Foundation.” On December 12th, our K9 program was picked as the 9th recipient of a $1,000 grant as part of their 12-day-of-Christmas giveaway. These funds will go towards training, re-certification costs, and overall maintenance of the Sheriff’s Office K9’s Poe and Cena. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office is 100% community & grant funded.
