Knives
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 4, 11:27 a.m., 2700 block Sheridan Ave., “anonymous report of family dispute sounds very physical. Officers responded / subjects warned for Disorderly Conduct. Officer seized 2 knives on female per her PO.” Twenty-five year old female and 32-year old male “involved/contacted.”

Dispute
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 4, 2:48 p.m., 600 block Tower St., “RP reported neighbor screaming and yelling at her, and his girlfriend is trying to leave and he is not allowing her.” Twenty-nine year old Garrett Nordquist, North Bend, taken into custody on charges of Disorderly Conduct and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Assault
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 4, 4:25 p.m., 700 block Virginia Ave., “RP reported he was just assaulted by male subject.” Forty-seven year old Mario Acosta, North Bend, taken into custody on charges of Assault IV and Strangulation. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Probation Violation
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 4, 4:59 p.m., 2400 block Broadway Ave., “officer out with detainable subject at location.” Twenty-six year old Michael Fitzhenry, Coos Bay, taken into custody on charge of Probation Violation and PCS Meth. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Young Beer Thieves
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 4, 10:38 a.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., Safeway, “report that 3 juveniles ran out with 3 cases of beer. Last seen running behind Maytag.”
