Hidden Creek Trail Closure, South Slough Reserve Due to Tree Hazards, Jan. 15

South Slough release – Charleston, OR- Due to the current weather event and trees falling, implementation of a temporary trail closure is in effect until trees can be cleared and deemed safe. The Hidden Creek Trail will be closed to public activity from Friday, 1/12 @ noon until further notice due to tree hazards from weather events. During this time, we will be working on getting the trail open for safe access as soon as possible. The Oregon Department of State Lands enacted the closure as a public safety measure due to hazards from falling trees from excessive wind and rain. The area will be reopened as soon as the work has been completed. All other South Slough trails are open dawn – dusk.
