Marshfield’s wrestling team won the 25-team Cottage Grove Invitational Saturday. The Pirates tallied 285.5-points, with Madras second (187.0), and Hidden Valley third (181.5). Coquille (155.5) was sixth, North Bend (111.0) ninth, Myrtle Pt. (74.0) 16th, and Gold Beach (24.0) 20th. Marshfield had three individual champions: Marshfield: Garron Castro (106) 1st; Hadyn Widdicombe (113) 1st; Trayton Forbes (120) 3rd; Reese Hite (132) 2nd; Aaron Sinnott (165) 3rd; Aryan Wright (175) 1st; Richardo Chacon (215) 3rd. Wyatt Smith (144) took first for North Bend. Camaron Houston (157) first for Coquille. Tommy Vigue (215) first for Coquille. Logan Clayburn (285) first for Myrtle Point.
